A study of medieval religious drama, including mystery, miracle and morality plays, with chapters relating to those of Chester, York, Wakefield and Lincoln. Hardin Craig (1875-1968) was a US renaissance and Shakespeare scholar, who served as professor of English at several universities. First edition published 1955.
