Boards sunned, including spine, some browning of flyleaves and foxing of half title; otherwise a very good copy. Name stamp in red on both front endpapers. Illustrated by 15 plates of wood engravings, including frontispiece, paginated in text. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. A student's guide to the techniques by Iain Macnab (1890-1967), Scottish artist and wood-engraver, educated at the Glasgow School of Art, who was influential in the development of the British school of wood-engraving.
